Sophie Beckham
Sophie Beckham is an Interior Designer I at Architects Lewis + Whitlock, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for creating thoughtful, functional spaces that enhance the human experience. A Tallahassee native, Sophie earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture and Design from Florida State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2026. Her interest in design began with an early appreciation for textiles, patterns, and materials, inspiring a creative approach that balances aesthetics with purpose.
Sophie contributes to ALW’s interior design team through space planning, design development, material and finish selections, and project documentation. Her approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful design extends beyond visual appeal to positively influence how people live, work, and interact with their surroundings.
Beyond the studio, Sophie enjoys traveling, exploring new places, playing beach volleyball and pickleball, and spending time with family, friends, and her pets. Having completed two half marathons, she brings that same determination and enthusiasm to her professional pursuits. Collaborative, dependable, and approachable, Sophie looks forward to expanding her experience across diverse project types while contributing to ALW’s commitment to thoughtful, community-focused design.
