Founded in 2000 by Rodney Lewis, AIA, and Cam Whitlock, AIA, Architects Lewis + Whitlock was established around a shared belief in collaboration, craftsmanship, and care for the people and places the firm serves. That foundation has guided ALW’s growth from a two-person practice into an award-winning architecture and interior design firm with enduring relationships throughout the region.
Today, the firm is owned and led by four principals: Rodney Lewis, AIA, Founding Principal; Emily Ely, RID, Principal of Interior Architecture; Matt Persinger, AIA, Principal of Operations; and Ryan Sheplak, AIA, Principal of Architecture + Design. Together, they carry forward ALW’s founding values while shaping the firm’s future and creating enduring places that strengthen communities throughout the region.
