Marisa Szymanski is an Interior Designer I at Architects Lewis + Whitlock, bringing over three years of professional experience and a growing portfolio of impactful, human-centered design. Since joining ALW in 2024, she has contributed to a variety of projects across the education, workplace, and healthcare sectors, each one grounded in her belief that thoughtful interiors can enhance wellbeing, inspire connection, and tell meaningful stories. Her design philosophy embraces authenticity, craftsmanship, and timelessness prioritizing natural materials, sustainable choices, and interiors that evolve with the people who use them.
At ALW, Marisa has played key roles in projects such as Griffin Middle School’s Gymnasium rebuild and Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic healthcare facilities. These experiences reflect her curiosity and versatility, ranging from tackling her first large-scale new construction project to developing a new passion for healthcare environments that support healing and resilience.
