Designer

Nicole Spina

Associate AIA

Nicole Spina brings a unique perspective to her role as Designer, drawing from her multicultural background and diverse creative experiences. Originally from the Republic of Panama, she has quickly established herself as a versatile team member who seamlessly bridges architecture and interiors, working across the full design spectrum from schematic design to master planning with expertise in civic, government, and educational projects.

Nicole’s design philosophy centers on user-centered functionality, believing that “Architecture is for the people, not the other way around.” She approaches each project with the conviction that thoughtful design can transform communities and improve quality of life. Among her proudest contributions at ALW are the Dittmer re-roofing green roof project, where she worked on the design independently with oversight from Rodney Lewis, Principal, and the Kleman Plaza Study, which allowed her to pursue her passion for urbanism.
