Showing Support for Second Harvest

As the need for food assistance is more significant than ever, Second Harvest staff and volunteers have helped thousands of families during the pandemic and through the holidays. They’re working around the clock to keep food banks, pantries, and meal programs running throughout the 11-county Big Bend area and are providing food and hope to so many in need. Today our ALW Principals and Marketing Director stopped by to contribute toward their colossal mission and to say thank you to Monique and her team of heroes for serving our neighbors in need.

Governors Inn: What's Old is New Again | Transforming a Downtown Favorite into a Revived 4-Star Boutique Hotel

ALW is collaborating with Hungerford Design Group to complete a comprehensive renovation of the Governors Inn in downtown Tallahassee. Our construction partner for the project, Childers Construction, is well underway with the early demolition package. The 16,500 square foot project will include upgrades to all guest rooms, suites, meeting rooms, and lounge/pre-function areas, as well as the lobby and public spaces. A new lounge and patio are also being added to the front of the building facing Adams Street. While modernizations are taking place, the property will retain the historic charm that has made the hotel a favorite for capital city guests for the past three decades.
