TSC Lifetime Sports Complex Locker Room Renovation

MODERNIZING THE STUDENT-ATHLETE EXPERIENCE

The renovation of Tallahassee State College’s (TSC) Lifetime Sports Complex renews an important campus destination for athletics, recreation, and student life. The complex supports TSC’s broader athletic and recreational programs, including the Eagle Fitness Center, recreation gym, basketball courts, and multipurpose activity spaces used by students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Our work focused on transforming approximately 13,800 square feet of existing space, including the lobby, ticketing, concession areas, restrooms, locker rooms, laundry, and storage spaces.

The project creates a more welcoming arrival experience, improves functionality for events and daily use, and strengthens the connection between the facility’s public-facing spaces and the student-athlete experience.

Within the locker room area, ALW reimagined the men’s and women’s locker rooms, laundry, and storage spaces to better support the daily rhythm of TSC athletics. New finishes, custom millwork, updated lighting, and improved spatial organization give the facility a cleaner, more durable, and more contemporary identity while supporting the practical needs of athletes, coaches, and staff.

Completed under a continuing services contract, the renovation reflects ALW’s ability to deliver focused, high-impact improvements within an active campus environment. The result is a refreshed athletic facility that honors the role of the Lifetime Sports Complex as both a performance venue and a place of belonging for the TSC community.
